Sat30Nov2013Independent Bookstores Everywhere
Small Business Saturday
Remember to support independent booksellers in your community this season! While The Fallen Snow is now available via bookstores nationwide, it is independents who embraced it from the start.
DC favorite Politics & Prose generated galley copies on their "Opus" Espresso Book Machine, hosted John's first reading, and spread the news of the novel's Publishers Weekly starred review. Fenwick Street Books in Leonardtown, Maryland, extended an initial welcome beyond the city, followed by the Winchester Book Gallery in Virginia. The ranks have grown steadily from there, with stores carrying the novel, featuring the book and hosting readings and discussions. So it is with pleasure John returns that support now. He will even be moonlighting as a bookseller at Politics & Prose for the celebration. Please do your part as well - shop at a local bookstore today!
Of special note, this year Small Business Saturday happens to fall one day shy of the the first ever sale of The Fallen Snow, which fittingly took place at Politics & Prose.
